The bitter beaver

I got a present.

I’ve wanted a taxidermy fox for many years, and unfortunately haven’t found one that fits my price range.  Taxidermy items are expensive, and the shipping costs are icky.

So on craigslist I found a beaver.  Priced at $40 and within driving range, I wanted him.

Being a little on the slow side as far as size of animals are concerned, I believed a beaver was approximately the size of a large squirrel or rabbit.

Shane went and bought him for me.  I was alarmed.

He..is…..enormous.

He is also very mean looking.

So I gave him a beer to relax him in his new surroundings, and gave him some less threatening accessories to make myself more at ease.

I’m still feeling pissed off, pissed on, angry at the world in general.

So here’s what I’ve been doing instead of spreading my general unease and profanity laden outbursts with my viewing audience.

Kindergarten-esque Halloween decorations for child.

Morbid? Quite. Don’t care.

Gum holder for the doctor I work for.  This is what she wanted for het birthday.  It’s made of a frame mat, cut into squares, and covered with fabric from a shirt I got at a yard sale.  I hate it.

The stitching is sloppy and its too big.  She loved it and made a big fuss of it, I’m suspicious she’s lying.  I told her to tell anyone that asks that she bought it from an orphanage where kids sell things they made with their feet.

Oh and eBay.

Besides selling my general reproductive health to a UNC study, I’m selling a bunch if crap on eBay.  Why? I’m poor and a hoarder.  So I sell stuff to buy more stuff to hoard.

Blerg.  I’m hoping my crappy mood passes.

Crappy moods always pass!! Here’s a BIG bear hug to help!!

The beaver looks gruesome but with the shades, hat and beer much more approachable.

Thanks Nurul..I also like him much better in his new outfit. If I ever finish the millions of crap I’m working on I really want to make him a monacle and a tux, at least his top half. So he looks sophisticated haha!

That’s a great idea!! A tux and monacle would be perfect! Could just imagine it!! Probably a watch on a chain he pulls out orhis tux pocket too…you know the type that flips open 🙂
