Wrestling buddy. Take 2!

So, on an excursion to Ollie’s to find door hinges, I found a quasi-wrestling buddy prototype, disguised as a football player.  For $2!

After literally ripping him limb from limb, I now have an accurate pattern and design, as opposed to the guessing game I was formerly playing.

Please excuse my photo bombing foot.

All pieces are cut out, some are sewn together, and hopefully tonight I can redeem myself from my previous flop.

Why try so hard? Shane is an amazing wrestler.  And the kids love him.  Well, they love Crumb the Bum anyway.

Luckily for me, I took pictures of every seam and dart, as I found myself making a mistake in the legs almost immediately.

I wish I could go home and rush thru it, but slamming one finger in a drawer today and a bruise present from another project on my other finger will leave me sluggish.

And of course my baby B will not be allowed to commiserate with the sewing machine, as God only knows what kind of trouble could result in the pairing of a 16 month old and a white mass of buttons and needles.
