I mustache you something

Why in the hell is this woman’s mustache so difficult to properly execute?

Now, I essentially hate this project.  I was so happy that upon checking various ‘hot spots’ for fallen skin colored buttons, I found enough to finish the area I was previously unable to.  These areas being under my button tray, in my bed, and in the laundry basket beside the bed.

I thought the unibrow was hard.  Boy was I wrong.  A light, well, a medium growth mustache is much more complicated.  Especially when you have to depend on certain holes lining up to form what are, essentially, tiny thick hairs, without looking like someone attacked your lifes work with a fricking sharpie.

Her face now looks like a large blob to me, and I want to throw the whole damn thing in the trash, or burn it, or rip it apart with my bare hands, or some other display of toddler like dramatics.

I’ve had a bad week, and this is the exclamation point on it.  So tonight, I will remove her mustache for the seventeen time, maybe this time using a thinner black thread, and trying to make the hairs lay just so, so it appears to look like a proper lady mustache.

If not, I’m going to painstakingly remove all the buttons with the help of my trusty seam ripper, and find someone else to do.  I was thinking Hemingway.

At least his mustache will be easier.
