Obese George, the hungry little monkey

Ever look at something and think, this just doesn’t look right, and you don’t know why?

I made this test curious George last night, as I haven’t done any kind of sculpting (if that’s what you’d call it) since I was 18 or 19.  Although it seems like I was just 18, it was 14 years ago. Yikes.  Anyway, I wanted to practice before I threw myself and ruined all the clay and the metal apparatus I have to attach it to.

He’s too fat.  Curious George was slim, and I have him a far too realistic body, complete with moobs (man boobs), a beer gut, and if you could see the back, butt cheeks.

I’m keeping him though, my fat average American size Curious George.  Although technically a failure, he was good practice, and I like his little face.
